Each session lasts 50’.
The first one or two sessions are dedicated to getting a history from you, in order to understand your challenges better, and whether I am able to help you.
Both on-line and in-person sessions are private, ensuring that whatever is said inside your therapy, is highly confidential and stays between us.
We will be working mostly with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) model. This means that we will be working collaboratively together and you are going to have a few exercises at home. In other words, CBT aims to help you identify and challenge unhelpful thoughts and to learn practical self-help strategies. These strategies are designed to bring about immediate positive changes in your quality of life. CBT aims to show you how your thinking affects your mood. It teaches you to think in a less negative way about yourself and your life. It is based on the understanding that thinking negatively is a habit that, like any other habit, can be broken.
